JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Junior Field Service Engineer will be trained to become an expert Field Services Engineer, responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. The resource will be based in Catania or willing to relocate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on the installed base and total system-level troubleshooting at basic or more advanced level, depending on the certified training and on the job training completed.
  • Ensure service maintenance and repair needs on designated equipment are addressed.
  • Daily interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to primary customers. Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
  • Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery.
  • Ensures timely completion of jobs assigned, including administration tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar field, or High specialization technical Diploma (ITS, ITIS) and basic experience on the field and in managing the customer.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
  • Passionate problem solver and attitude to perform under pressure.
  • Ability in interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
  • Based in Sicilia - Catania or able to relocate
  • Fluent in Italian and English
