Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Manager (d/f/m), you will take a central role in most of the finance-related topics: from Strategic Finance / FP&A, to Tech/Automation implementation, and Fundraising. This is a unique opportunity to support in designing and building processes and standards from the ground up, driving innovation and efficiency at every step, and have a “helicopter view” of the company’s business model. You will have the authority to set best practices, introduce scalable solutions, and implement future-ready workflows that support our ambitious growth. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

Actuals: support in the implementation of our FP&A system (Abacum), and eventually be co-responsible for the Actuals reporting & variance analysis, including insights and proposals for corrective actions.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

Forecasts: financial modeling on our FP&A platform. This includes provision of inputs across departments through regular and ad-hoc business partnering.

  • New Countries Set-Up:

Support in the creation of new entities, the adoption of ERP systems, and the integration with our “single-source-of-truth database”

  • AP/AR Oversight:

Support on accounts payable/receivable internally and externally. Ensure payments are executed correctly and timely. Be the go-to person regarding escrow accounts, collaterals, and client reporting topics

  • Payment / Invoice & Accrual Automation:

Co-lead projects relating to full automation of internal finance tasks

  • Fundraising:

Help the finance team in preparatory tasks relating to future fundraising initiatives

  • Operational Finance:

Share responsibility with other team members on invoice management, payments, T&E management, or other tasks, as they arise.

  • Admin Support:

Work closely with the founder’s associate, the finance operations team, or other departments on ad-hoc projects; examples include bank-accounts opening, KYC documentation, public grants applications
