Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible in reconciling the company’s bank accounts, providing treasury support, and performing month-end closing tasks as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Four-year degree in accounting
  • Relevant accounting designation preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Workday or Great Plains preferred.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office and cash management tools.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and current accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
  • Reconcile various bank accounts and other general ledger accounts assigned.
  • Investigate discrepancies and clear any outstanding bank transactions.
  • Monitor and escalate reconciliation issues with relevant stakeholders (internal or external).
  • Maintain matrix of account reconciliations and ensure that all reconciliations are prepared, reviewed, and received by the due dates.
  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries as needed.
  • Generate month-end reports and analysis as required.
  • Provide prompt responses to stakeholders (internal or external) for all inquiries.
  • Prepare audit and special request reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
