We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial analysis and eager to develop their career in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in manufacturing operations and cost analysis, and is excited to contribute to a dynamic, product-driven organization. This role supports the FP&A Manager in delivering accurate financial data, insightful analysis, and continuous improvement within our finance and operations functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in cost analysis, accounting, financial analysis or related
  • Bilingualism, French and English preferred. (Intermediate level of English is required)
  • CPA (obtained/in progress) – an asset
  • Manufacturing experience – an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in Costing and Inventory related projects. Ensure the accuracy of item standard costs, reconcile standard costs to actual costs, and maintain the perpetual inventory system.
  • Perform month-end entries and reporting, including margin, variances and absorption.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and participate in system implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on the annual cost roll-up process, including analysis and system uploads.
  • Support the FP&A Manager in monthly actual vs. budget reporting and insights, particularly for Operations.
  • Assist in the annual budget process and contribute to business case analysis, cost-saving opportunities, and ad-hoc analysis.
