Radius Fire is excited to hiring Apprentice Fire Technicians to join to our growing team! No prior experience? No problem. We provide fully paid, in-house training at our state-of-the-art, ASTTBC approved facility, giving you the hands-on skills and knowledge to succeed in the fire protection industry.

CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Services & Scheduling

  • Perform essential fire protection services, including maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency lights, and sprinkler systems (all training will be provided).
  • Fulfill on-call duties as needed to support customer needs and service requirements.
  • Arrive promptly at all scheduled meetings and appointments, in full uniform and equipped to complete assigned tasks.
  • Efficiently complete daily schedules while maintaining a timely and organized workflow.
  • Perform services in compliance with ASTTBC regulations, the BC Fire Code, and Municipal guidelines.
  • Communicate proactively with the Service Coordination team regarding any issues, delays, scheduling conflicts, or unoccupied time.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork or electronic documentation daily.

Other

  • Safely operate a company-issued vehicle within the Lower Mainland, following company policies.
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance and care of the vehicle as outlined in the company’s vehicle policy.
  • Obtain and maintain ASTTBC certification in all four basic disciplines and any additional required certifications.
