Description

The Junior FP&A Analyst is a key role within the regional EMEA FP&A team, aiming at supporting the financial reporting and analysis functions by assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
The Junior FP&A Analyst will help analyse financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to provide actionable insights to senior management. The Junior FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good experience in a finance or accounting-related role, with exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, or planning.
  • Previous experience in FP&A is a plus but not required.
  • Strong ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage and organize large volumes of financial data.
  • Excel & Reporting Tools: Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial models. Familiarity with financial reporting software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry. (Desirable)
  • Experience in retail industry. (Desirable)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft D365. (Desirable)
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including variance analysis between actual and forecasted performance. Provide insights into key financial trends and drivers.
  • Data Analysis: Support the collection and analysis of financial data from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to understand business performance, support decision-making, and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Reporting Tools: Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support management in tracking performance.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis requests from senior management, business partners, or external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate records of financial data, reports, and assumptions to support the integrity of financial planning and analysis processes.

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE WITH EXPECTATION OF WORKING IN OUR KIDLINGTON OFFICE 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK.
