Due to continued growth, Robert Kukla Spedition UK have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Freight Forwarder to join their operations department located in Folkestone, Kent.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in an Logistics environment.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations, primarily using sea containers, intermodal rail and road trailers.
  • Execute orders and coordinate with stakeholders such as suppliers and carriers to ensure prompt collection and delivery of shipments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during shipment.
  • Manage import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including transport arrangements and shipping tracking.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to customers.

Our ideal candidate for the Freight Forwarder role will have:

  • Full fluency in English.
  • Excellent time management, communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
