You will be spearheading the creation of user interfaces for websites and web applications, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly experience. YOUR DAILY ZOALA EXPERIENCE

As a Frontend Developer, you will be integral in:

• Collaborate with backend developers to meet design and functional requirements and assist with production ready coding and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive, responsive web pages
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and reusable components that adheres to our coding standards.
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Implement and maintain front-end libraries and frameworks
• Integrate third party APIs for enhanced functionality
• Gather feedback from users and customers to develop effective solutions
• Exercising your entrepreneurial spirit to identify new opportunities that optimise business processes and improve consumer experiences, as well as prototype solutions to demonstrate value.

THE CAREER REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree holder (Preferably with a degree in Computer Science, or related fields).
• 2 - 3 years of experience with React.js and Tailwind CSS.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Hands on experience with markup languages such as HTML
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Laravel frameworks
• Experience with using Laravel’s Blade templates
• Experience integrating with RESTful Services and APIs
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools for continuous deployment and version control
• A team player who is adept at communication, project management and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
