The selected candidate will join the client’s SW team, focusing on the specification, development, validation of an optical network supervision and management system. He will work on the frontend using React, JavaScript and TypeScript, ensuring a modern and responsive user interface, and on the backend with Java, building scalable and efficient APIs. The role includes designing, developing, and optimizing both frontend and backend components to enhance system performance and reliability.
This position offers a significant opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned team, gaining broad exposure and influence in product development and performance within a leading networking technology provider.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with both Front-End and Back-End SW development.
  • Experience with React, JavaScript. Knowledge of TypeScript would be a strong plus.
  • Good command of Backend development using Java
  • Knowledge of Git and GitLab/Hub.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English knowledge.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the frontend using React/JavaScript and TypeScript, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly UI.
  • Implement and optimize the backend using Java, designing scalable and efficient APIs.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to integrate real-time management/monitoring features for fiber optic networks.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment processes.
