The Organisation

My client is a large fund manager, with a presence across Australia. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Fund Accountant on a six-month contract basis with a view to permanency.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Prepare daily bank and GL reconciliations for fund applications and redemption accounts.
• Investigate and clear reconciliation items within required timeframes and escalate where appropriate.
• General communications and liaison with Custodians and Banks.
• Processing of Management fee rebates
• Assist with daily unit pricing.
• Assist with half year and end of year projects.
• Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders

The Candidate

• 0-2 years of experience working as a fund accountant or a unit pricing specialist
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Accounting & Finance would be desirable.
• Strong numerical and quantitative skills.
• Immediately Available.
