Responsibilities:

Our focus is on the application of critical thinking to the management of mine waste and water. If continuing your career journey with us, you would be part of our Mining Environmental Group, based out our Vancouver office. The role of Geotechnical Engineer comes with the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Work on a variety of geotechnical projects that may include site characterization, slope stability, numerical modeling, water management design, foundation design, tailings and water retention embankment design, earthworks and construction.
  • Visit project sites, gather information as required to complement design activities and get involved in site investigation and drilling programs, core logging, lab testing, instrumentation installations and monitoring, as well as data review and analysis.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control and on-site engineering activities during construction.
  • Work with diverse teams of discipline engineers and designers from conceptual design through to construction and operations through to closure.
  • Receive on-going guidance and mentorship from leaders in the industry in a supportive, dynamic company culture that supports career development
