JOB SUMMARY:
The Junior GIS Specialist will support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (FWS) Information Resources and Technology Management Directorate, Data Management Division, Geospatial Data Services Branch. This role will assist senior GIS staff in managing geospatial systems, performing data analysis, and supporting training and documentation tasks.
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of professional GIS experience and an Associate’s degree or higher. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Esri’s ArcGIS suite and a strong interest in expanding their expertise in geospatial data management, enterprise GIS systems, and analysis.
