Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a valued member of the Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) Group, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse array of clients on exciting and challenging projects focused on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites. Our projects span various scales, locations, and industries, requiring your expertise and professionalism to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fieldwork for a variety of contaminated site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, while supervising the operation of heavy plant and drilling equipment.
  • Observe, guide, and document site remediation activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Manage, interpret, and ensure the quality of data through rigorous quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Assist in writing proposals, project correspondence, and technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

To thrive in this role, you should ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geosciences.
  • Some experience gained in relevant field work will be advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards for yourself, your team, and any contractors involved.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for producing high-quality work that delivers practical solutions for our clients.
  • Willingness to undertake remote fieldwork across Australia.
  • Permanent residency in Australia.
