Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer 3-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are a fast-growing company in the professional beauty industry, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in digital and print design, contribute to innovative marketing initiatives, and grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles, proficiency with industry-standard design software, and a passion for creating compelling visual content that brings brands and stories to life. This job is a 3 Month Contract with the potential of extension, or full-time permanent hiring, at the end of the duration of the contract.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Reporting to the Lead Graphic Designer
• Assist in creating engaging designs for social media, web, email campaigns, and print
• Help bring creative concepts to life while following brand guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
• Prepare files for digital and print production
• Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives with your creative eye

Job Qualifications and Tasks:

• MUST HAVE OWN Equipment (MacBook/Laptop) and Creative Suite License
• Packaging layouts and designs are an asset
• Recent graduate from a graphic design program (college or university)
• Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Eager to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively
• Organized, reliable, and excited to build your professional portfolio
• Bonus: Existing experience with motion graphics, web visuals and video editing

Experience

• Previous experience or portfolio showcasing skills in graphic design, digital design, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with design principles and experience working with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
• Experience with typography and visual design best practices is essential.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate creative concepts effectively are important for success in this role.
• Internship experience or coursework in graphic design or digital media will be considered an asset.
