JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to support our Lead Designer across a range of exciting design projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience who’s eager to grow and work in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience working in a graphic design role (agency or in-house)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles and experience working with die lines
  • Ability to update design files and maintain image libraries
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in packaging design and print production
  • Familiarity with both Canadian and U.S. market design standards
  • Experience designing retail assets, in-store signage, and menu boards
  • Experience with social media content creation (both static and video)
  • Comfortable working with strain images and branded product photography
  • Knowledge of designing for TV menus or digital display boards
  • Retail design experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and production of packaging for Canadian and U.S. products
  • Create sales tools such as sell sheets, digital assets, and physical retailer materials
  • Update menus and assist with the development of social media content (static and video)
  • Work extensively with vector files, ensuring proper preparation for print production
  • Maintain and update image libraries and design files to ensure consistency and accessibility
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns aligned with brand goals
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and project requirements
  • Support multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality
