SUMMARY:

The Junior Graphic Designer plays a role in helping to drive the messaging of the brand and what it stands for across all consumer and trade touch points. This role is responsible for assisting the Senior Graphic Designer in design, development and execution of a wide range of creative projects for the brand, ranging from brand identity to seasonal campaigns, advertising and promotional materials, visual merchandising, packaging, e-commerce, e-mail blasts, social media, and more.

SKILLS:

  • Strong design aesthetic and good understanding of website design, digital media, typography, page layout and packaging.
  • Understanding of brand positioning and communication.
  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to handle a number of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Responsible for following the workload calendar, and delivering work on time. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Willing to learn, excited by new challenges.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS/BFA in Graphic Design.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in graphic design with an impressive portfolio. • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.
    Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $25.00 - $33.00/hour.
