In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR activities — from onboarding and employee support to HR systems, data quality, and process improvement. You’ll play an important role in supporting managers and employees across the Nordics, while helping ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional HR experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to processes, improving how things work, and delivering a high-quality service. GBS brings together expertise across functions to support our global business, with a strong focus on efficiency, continuous improvement, and digitalization. We work closely with colleagues across regions and business units to ensure processes run smoothly and services are delivered in a reliable and professional way. Within HR, GBS plays an important role in both supporting everyday HR processes and developing smarter, more streamlined ways of working. What you’ll be doing As our Junior HR Consultant, you’ll support the delivery of local HR services across the Nordic countries, ensuring processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with legal requirements and company policies. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting core HR administration, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll input, and benefits administration Providing first-line support to managers and employees on standard HR processes Handling HR requests through ServiceNow in a professional, service-minded, and timely manner Maintaining accurate HR data, documentation, and case records Supporting the communication and implementation of HR policies and practices Escalating more complex HR or employee relations topics when needed Helping ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies across the Nordics Supporting the use of HR systems such as Workday and time and absence tools Contributing to HR reporting, data quality, and analytics Taking an active role in improving HR processes, workflows, and digital tools Supporting the development and optimisation of ServiceNow as a key HR system Who you are: You enjoy both the people side of HR and the structure behind it. You’re organised, dependable, and motivated by delivering a high-quality service, while also spotting opportunities to improve how things work. We’re looking for someone who has: A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or a related field 0–3 years of relevant experience in HR or administration An interest in labour law and regulatory compliance An interest in HR systems and technology Strong communication and interpersonal skills A structured, detail-oriented, and service-minded way of working High ethical standards and a professional approach to handling people data A self-driven mindset with an interest in building and refining effective systems and routines Experience with Workday and ServiceNow is an advantage, but not a requirement. What we offer: Working at Wilhelmsen, you’ll be part of a culture that values strong leadership, career development, and work-life balance — in a role that is both challenging and rewarding. Competitive salary and an attractive pension plan Flexible working hours and location Company cabins in both winter and summer locations Our in-house sports organisation, WIL, with activities such as kayaking, squash, football, yoga, and more (including social events, skiing trips, and pub crawls) Gym and indoor court in the office (football every Friday at lunch) Perks such as a paid mobile subscription and health insurance Ready to come on board?
