GENERALIST HR SUPPORT (FRACTIONAL & PROJECT-BASED)

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance on matters such as employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, job descriptions, performance conversations, and policy interpretation.
  • Support and/or lead project-based work including policy development, handbook reviews, compliance audits, and compensation research.
  • Recommend practical, scalable HR solutions that align with the client’s culture, industry, and stage of growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience/education.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Adobe products, Google suite, and Mac preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Proven project management skills required.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • CPHR certification would be an asset.
