SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Kristi Hopper Designs is looking for a Junior Interior Designer who has creative talent, imagination and eye for design, is very organized and has good personal skills to interact with clients. The Junior Interior Designer will help the Owner/Principal Designer in everyday office and client duties related to Interior
Design. These responsibilities would include: sourcing products, requesting quotes, corresponding with clients, vendors and showrooms, coordinating furniture and design installations, placing orders, following up on order status and other common tasks related with interior design.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • One to Five years of interior design experience is preferred, but not required

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sourcing of Furniture, Fabrics, Lighting etc.
  • Placing client orders
  • Client Correspondence
  • Coordinating furniture installations and deliveries of products
  • Help keep Owner/Principal Designer organized with scheduling of clients
  • Assist Owner/Principal Designer with daily tasks
  • On-site measuring
  • Keep Inventory of Items Received
  • Creating Design Schemes
