SUMMARY

Generally, assists the Interior Designer to implement the design vision for each project.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop each assigned client’s project design vision
  • Engage with clients throughout the entire project about all design related items
  • Use creative forward thinking and drive the design team to new concepts and styles
  • Develop design boards, inspiration books, specification books, and furniture decks
  • Conduct finish and furniture presentations to clients alongside Lindye Galloway
  • Participate in job site meetings with client and build team
  • Make or approve finish and furniture selections for projects
  • Participate in each project installation
  • Prepare for weekly meetings with design team to discuss schedule and weekly priorities
  • Update client weekly via email
  • Cultivate professional relationship with industry partners
  • Manage client experience from onboarding through installation completion
  • Manage and direct any assistants as needed.

  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and architectural detailing. Take lead on certain rooms.
  • Develop design boards, inspiration books, specification books, and furniture decks. Take lead on certain rooms.
  • Assist in product or material selections.
  • Gather quotes from vendors and put together client proposals.
  • Prepare items for client presentation and get the team set up for meetings.
  • Assist with project installations.
  • Collect and return samples and visit showrooms.
  • Run client and office related errands.
  • Manage accessories, organizing storage room and implementing each product into the product management system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and InDesign, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D Rendering Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task while remaining mindful of details
