Maria DeCotiis Interior Design is a boutique interior design firm specializing in elevated, timeless interiors with a personalized approach. We create refined, livable spaces and are known for our attention to detail, strong client relationships, and curated aesthetic. We’re looking for a talented Junior Designer to join our growing team and support our design projects from concept through to completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design (or currently completing)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 1–2 years experience in a design firm or internship preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Junior Interior Designer, you’ll work closely with our Principal Designer and design team to assist with project development, selections, documentation, and execution. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who’s organized, eager to learn, and passionate about high-end residential design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Create design boards, spec sheets, and client presentations
• Support with AutoCAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
• Help prepare for client meetings and site visits
• Track product orders, samples, and deliveries
• Maintain project files and design libraries
• Support installations and styling as needed
