Vibe Design Collective is an expanding interior design firm in Steamboat Springs Colorado, specializing in residential and commercial interiors. As a full-service design firm, we are involved from the initial programming all the way through styling. Most importantly, we have a play hard, work hard mentality that encourages a healthy work-life balance.
The firm is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of design projects with mentorship from principal and senior level staff. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry level interior designer to be immersed in all areas of the design process, collaborating with team members, contractors, trades, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of each project, both big and small.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or 2 year degree in interior architecture or interior design from an accredited program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude and self-starter
• Ability to collaborate with other team members, including other designers, contractors, clients, and vendors
• Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. In Design and Blue Beam a plus but not necessary.

SUMMARY

This is a full time position, requiring at least 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and option to work remote. It does not require residing in Steamboat Springs but residency in the state of Colorado is preferred. Availability to travel to Steamboat 1x per quarter is ideal and all travel expenses will be covered by the firm. • You will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of design projects that reflect our clients’ unique aesthetic
• You will collaborate with team members, contractors, trades, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of each project, both big and small
• Supports principal and senior interior designers
• Works with the team on visioning and conceptual design packages
• Produces construction drawings, furniture plans, lighting and finish plans, elevations, and details
• Sources and selects furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the project vision and concept
• Produces and manages projects including quote requests, purchase orders, estimates, proposals, reports, and tracking
• Coordinates with third party fabricators, trades, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
• Coordinates with general contractors, subcontractors, other trades, and consultants
• Reviews and edits design package, drawing set, submittals, and shop drawings
• Manages the coordination and logistics of furniture and styling installations
