This role is focused on estimating, procurement and cost management for our offsite company Greenframe, a specialist in Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) and Off-Site Construction. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to become part of an innovative team working closely and based in OCC Construction head office, who will provide full mentorship & career development.
This role offers a dynamic path for someone looking to grow their career in estimating, procurement and cost management with a view to advancing their role into a key commercial setting and a rapidly evolving sector.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;

  • Quantity Surveying Degree or similar with 2+ years’ post-graduate experience.
  • A genuine interest in Offsite/Modern Methods of Construction.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous exposure to estimating and/or procurement in a construction setting is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and ideally experienced with estimating software (e.g. Cubit or similar).
  • Organised, detail-focused and eager to learn and grow in a fast-moving industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and procurement plans for off-site construction projects.
  • Support the procurement of materials and subcontractor packages, ensuring best value and alignment with project schedules.
  • Monitor and report on project costs, identifying variances and contributing to value engineering processes.
  • Work alongside senior Quantity Surveyors and the wider commercial team to develop cost plans and manage financial risks.
  • Attend project meetings and support communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
