Peninsula Investments Group is a fund focused on the development of real estate projects in select Latin American countries and the United States, in partnership with local developers. Peninsula currently has an active portfolio of projects under construction in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and is looking to add to its team a finance professional to evaluate investment opportunities in projects in the United States. Responsibilities Market Research Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Research, review, and compile market metrics such as rents, occupancy levels, transactions, supply, and demand. Use multiple tools and databases to collect information, including phone calls. Read and summarize market studies prepared by industry experts. IC Decks Preparation Assist in preparing Investment Committee (IC) PowerPoint decks that clearly communicate key aspects of proposed investments. Due Diligence Support due diligence prior to funding new projects by coordinating requests with development partners, reviewing materials, and managing the due diligence checklist. Financial Modeling Adapt and extract information from financial models provided by development partners to evaluate financial performance and potential returns of investment projects. Marketing Materials Assist in the preparation of marketing materials as needed. Updates and Databases Ensure accuracy and accessibility of information. Regularly update critical databases: Investment Pipeline, Leasing, Construction Costs, and Operating Proformas. Coordinate and support the Back Office, Finance Team, and Investor Relations Team with data requests. Support to Asset Management Team Populate the leasing database and prepare/distribute weekly leasing reports. Prepare and distribute weekly census analyses for specific properties. Update monthly construction schedules of values. Maintain and update investor presentation decks. Perform deviation analysis of investments’ Balance Sheets and Income Statements. Prepare and distribute monthly portfolio key metrics reports. Update financial projections. Conduct rate plan analysis. Handle ad-hoc requests. Candidate Profile Finance professional with up to 2 years of experience in the financial sector. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Advanced Excel proficiency. Advanced oral and written English. Process-oriented mindset, with a focus on leveraging technology to automate workflows. Responsibilities
The Junior Investment Analyst will conduct market research to identify trends and assist in preparing Investment Committee decks. They will also support due diligence processes and maintain critical databases related to investment projects.
