We are searching for a Junior Field Service Engineer who is passionate about learning and growing in the IT field. This position offers an in-depth introduction to the IT industry within a supportive and nurturing environment. You will be working from our Highbury and Islington headquarters four days a week, with occasional on-site support across London and the Southeast.

  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new IT systems, applications, and processes.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Basic IT knowledge and hands-on skills.
  • Good analytical ability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Trustworthy and self-motivated.
Responsibilities
  • Providing technical support, addressing both hardware and software issues with the aim of minimizing downtime.
  • Assisting with the installation, upgrade, and repair of hardware and software on-site.
  • Learning and applying IT systems, applications, and processes quickly.
  • Effectively communicating technical issues in an understandable manner to users.
  • Contributing to IT projects such as software rollouts, migrations, under direct supervision.
  • Analyzing complex data and issues with a strong analytical ability.
  • Planning and managing your workload independently, considering both technical and business factors.
  • Working closely with the IT team and the Head of IT to grow your technical skills and contribute to the technical capability within the company.
    Throughout your first six months, a mentor from the IT team will guide your learning and integration into the team.
