SUMMARY

We are seeking candidates for a full-time Junior IT Developer position at our facility located in Fairview, Pa., about three miles west of the City of Erie. The successful candidate will join our IT team in the customization, development, and maintenance of our backend and frontend applications (including the development of new website and backend features and capabilities), and assist in the management and maintenance of our cloud and premises-based applications, hardware, and networks. This position is an opportunity to work in the fast-paced Ecommerce development field, and to grow a high-demand skill set.
This is an hourly position, with compensation starting at $17 per hour and increasing based on work experience and existing skills. The ideal candidate will have a recent degree in software engineering or a related field, with work experience during school. We will consider candidates with more experience. Health benefits and paid time off will be available following a successful probationary period. This position requires on-site work throughout the week.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
• Fundamental understanding of C# or a related language, JavaScript, and advanced HTML
• Ability to take on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks
• Ability to work closely with our IT Manager, other department leaders, and other members of our IT team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of and experience with NetSuite or Oracle software
• Knowledge of and experience with .NET MAUI
• Knowledge of and experience with SQL/MySQL databases
• Experience with responsive or adaptive web design
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST integrations
• Knowledge of regular expressions
