Tasks

• Support for the areas of server, storage, network and IT security, as well as projects in the IT administration environment.
• Handling smaller customer projects and migrations (e.g. server setup or mail migrations)
• Performing patch installations or updates of third-party software on servers
• Design and maintenance of all services in a Windows network
• Selection, procurement, installation and documentation of IT systems according to customer specifications
• Customer contact for error analysis and remote troubleshooting

qualification

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable training course
• Knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN), as well as server services such as DHCP and DNS
• Initial experience in larger IT environments with common Windows Server and client operating systems
• Ideally, knowledge of virtualization technologies from VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Strong service and customer focus
• Perseverance and a systematic approach to troubleshooting, even in tricky support cases.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new and challenging tasks
