KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES INCLUDE

• Experience in a similar role
• Bachelors Degree in a field such as Computer Science or similar
• Industry certification such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA
• Ability to work independently to manage own tasks whilst also being a strong team player and contribute to team/firmwide projects and goals
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal team members and external stakeholders
• Have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and manage to deadlines/ project timelines

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Junior IT Systems Administrator role reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for the support of internal systems. The role sits within a multi-disciplinary technology and process team in a high paced legal environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Provide technical support and solutions to staff as a valued member of the IT operations team
• Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle, ensuring proper tracking and compliance
• Configure and install laptops and applications in accordance with firm standards
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and professionally
• Monitor and report on the status of internal business systems and cybersecurity tools
• Administer user access and security settings across all relevant systems
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation to support IT operations and ISO 27001 information security controls
