Are you a passionate Java developer eager to apply your skills in a fast-growing fintech environment? We are looking for a (Junior) Java Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic and international team. Our project is already live and successfully helping customers simplifying their bank account’s transfer.
You will take an active part in the conception and architecture of new customer-facing features, taking ownership of implementation from design to deployment. You will collaborate closely with our Data Science, DevOps and Product Management teams to help solve complex business needs.

Our technology stack: Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Gradle, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Junit 5, Mockito, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus.

Your Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Java programming language
• You understand OOP principles and you are familiar with software design patterns
• You have a basic understanding of RESTful API development principles
• Experience with Spring Boot, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ is a plus
• You like to challenge proposed solutions and love to learn from code reviews
• You have good spoken and written knowledge of English - German is a plus

Your Responsibilities

• Take an active role in the entire software development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements to implementation and deployment to production
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comprehensive test coverage
• Actively participate in improving software architecture and development processes
• Collaborate with other engineers through pull request discussions and code reviews
• Balance technical excellence with business needs to deliver impactful results to our customers
