About the Role We are seeking a Junior Lawyer with strong knowledge and interest in both civil and criminal law to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing the company in relevant legal proceedings. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under supervision while building expertise across diverse cases. Key Responsibilities Assist senior lawyers in civil and criminal litigation matters. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, agreements, contracts, petitions, and notices. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case briefs. Liaise with clients, external counsels, and regulatory authorities. Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations under guidance. Maintain case files, track timelines, and ensure compliance with legal processes. Provide legal opinions and support in day-to-day company matters. Stay updated on changes in civil and criminal law, regulations, and compliance requirements. Requirements LLB degree from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council of India. 0–2 years of experience in civil and/or criminal law. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, drafting, and case law research. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to both civil suits (contracts, property disputes, etc.) and criminal matters. Prior experience/internship with a law firm or corporate legal department. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
