They will work in our highly skilled and continually expanding area of Leak Repair. This job is right for you if you’re mechanically inclined, enthusiastic about learning a new trade and not afraid to work in tough work environments. No accommodation or travel would be provided. Employer paid Extended Health Care (100% drug coverage), Dental (100% Basic services coverage), and Annual Health & Wellness Spending Account Key Duties and Responsibilities Start your apprenticeship learning new skills every day such as: Seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels Corrosion protection repair Line freeze Hot tap Control bolt Test and pipe isolations Cold cutting Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done. Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs Role Specifications 0-2 years’ experience with a trade such as millwright, welder, pipefitter, carpenter Familiarity of leak sealing is an asset but not required – we will train you! Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Personal Characteristics You’ve always been mechanically inclined and are happiest working with your hands You can use any hand tool and are comfortable with all air tools Fitness isn’t a concern, you can climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs regularly You’re open to any and all schedules – overtime, on call and weekend work aren’t a concern Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Responsibilities

The Junior Leak Seal Technician will seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels while ensuring safety at heights and in confined spaces. They will also complete required paperwork and maintain a clean job site.
