Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a Junior Learning Designer to join our Education team and help reinvent GCSE English exam preparation. At Atom, you’ll combine subject expertise with the power of AI to create engaging, rigorous, and scalable content that helps thousands of students succeed in their exams and beyond.
This is not just another content-writing role: it’s an opportunity to shape the future of learning. You’ll work on everything from interactive lessons and assessments to revision resources that bring texts like Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, and An Inspector Calls to life. You’ll help students sharpen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, while learning to master cutting-edge AI tools that are redefining education.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with a team of English specialists to design exceptional learning experiences aligned with GCSE specifications.
  • Create high-quality content across English Language and Literature, from comprehension passages to creative writing tasks and set-text support.
  • Develop revision and exam prep materials that give students confidence in analysis, critical thinking, and expression.
  • Review and refine colleagues’ work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and curriculum alignment.
  • Harness AI authoring tools to deliver personalised learning at scale.
