Junior Lease Analyst Job Description We are looking for a Junior Lease Analyst to support our team by assisting with the abstraction of new leases and amendments. This role involves entering lease data into property management systems, interpreting lease terms, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of lease information. Responsibilities Support the Lease Analyst in preparing and reviewing abstracts for new leases and amendments. Retrieve and organize documentation for abstract packages. Process cash receipts and generate property-related invoices. Enter lease data into property management software with accuracy and attention to detail. Interpret lease terms and language for accurate data entry and reporting. Set up and maintain pass-through worksheets for Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and Real Estate Taxes. Review lease documents and completed abstracts for accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with Property Managers to investigate and resolve tenant account discrepancies. Maintain and update lease data within the database, ensuring data integrity and quality control. Conduct invoice reviews to verify alignment with tenant lease obligations. Communicate with landlords and assist in developing standard forms, policies, and procedures. Essential Skills Solid experience in commercial real estate and property leasing operations. Skilled in managing commercial leases, including abstractions and amendments. Proficient in accounts payable/receivable processes and lease abstraction tasks. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate or property leasing. Familiarity with commercial lease agreements, including abstractions and amendments. Open to training candidates with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing experience within the commercial real estate or property sector. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $24.04/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
