ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is an integral part of the Category Growth Organisation Legal team, providing balanced, commercial legal advice and support to the Global Self Care brand teams as well as associated global functions, including the R&D, Medical and Regulatory teams. You will be a partner to the business working collaboratively with both legal and non-legal colleagues and stakeholders to bring innovative and competitive products to market while ensuring their compliance with marketing and consumer laws.
You will gain experience on research and development of OTC medicines as well as cosmetics and general products and medical devices. This role will suit you if you enjoy working closely with creatives and innovators, are willing to join in and ideate, love a challenge and seeking out practical solutions, are not afraid of getting into technical details of a project, and like working in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in collaboration with the Head of Legal CGO, Self Care to deliver operational legal support to aspects of global product development, marketing, advertising and commercialisation, including:

- Advising on global advertising and marketing claims and claims substantiation, as well as approving on-pack copy and other globally developed consumer and trade marketing materials, including point of sale and social media posts;
- Providing input to project documentation including stage gate documents, and to risk assessments;
- Advising on concepts and attending workshops for new and/or existing products, identifying key risks and route to market issues;
- Attending, and preparing notes of meetings of leadership team meetings; and
- Liaising with Reckitt lawyers worldwide and other legal functions such as Global Brand Protection, Patents and Procurement, ensuring regular communication of issues, and seeking or providing advice as needed.
