Staying ahead: Collaborate closely with lawyers, take ownership of tasks, exceed business expectations, anticipate challenges and adapt to changing technologies Role and key responsibilities Stakeholder engagement: Conduct regular one to one meetings with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations and future planning. Attend team meetings, maintain a flexible approach and adopt hybrid working to accommodate stakeholder and client needs. Diary and mailbox management: Efficiently manage diaries and mailbox management. Act as a liaison point for colleagues and clients. Assist with client queries during stakeholder absences. Meeting coordination: Organise and plan meetings, arrange necessary travel, equipment and refreshments using available technology and resources. Workload prioritisation: Take ownership of tasks, delegate effectively across dedicated support teams such as billing, finance, team assistants, document production. Monitor task progress and proactively communicate with stakeholders to meet deadlines. Matter management: Manage the end to end file opening process, collaborating with stakeholders and other business support teams, including electronic filing. Financial administration and compliance: Assist in providing financial administrative support to stakeholders, coordinating with billing and finance teams, ensuring compliance with legal, firm-wide and practice specific policies and procedures. Document management: Undertake short document work. Collaborate with our document production team for larger documents utilising our dedicated software. Business development support: Assist the team with follow-up reporting. Support marketing and business development activities, including meet and greets. Prepare and submit expenses. Collaboration and technology adoption: Build and maintain collaborative working relationships. Continuously seek opportunities to embrace technologies that improve efficiency. Champion self-serve technology adoption within the team.
