Description
  • Junior Low-Latency Network Engineer – Graduate Opportunity
As a Junior Low-Latency Network Engineer, you will work closely with the Head of Low-Latency Networks and contribute to the development of high-performance network solutions across global data centers and colocation sites. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a science or maths-based degree and a keen interest in networking, telecoms, and low-latency systems.
You’ll assist in managing key aspects of colocation sites, including site access, equipment logistics, and capacity planning (power, space, servers, and network ports). You’ll also gain hands-on experience optimizing network performance, ensuring service availability, and supporting critical trading infrastructure such as market data delivery and direct market access systems.
Our client-centric approach is central to driving success, and we’re adapting to today’s environment with flexible, remote interview and onboarding processes, ensuring your transition is seamless, even during the current social distancing measures.

  • Client & Partner Engagement: Support senior team members in maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, gaining insight into the commercial and technical aspects of the telecoms industry.
  • Learning & Growth: Take part in training, mentorship, and hands-on projects to develop expertise in network infrastructure, routing protocols, and telecom solutions.
  • Support Network Design & Deployment: Assist in the design, engineering, and implementation of ultra-low latency network infrastructure.
    · Network Installation & Maintenance: Help with the setup, monitoring, and optimization of network hardware, security hardware, and software.
    · Performance Optimization: Learn how to fine-tune network performance for trading systems, gaining exposure to connectivity with exchanges, brokers, and managed service providers.
    · Project Involvement: Work alongside experienced engineers to configure and optimize networks, ensuring seamless, low-latency delivery for trading operations.
    · Technical Development: Develop expertise in network connectivity, latency-sensitive systems, and real-time data processing through hands-on training and mentorship.
