Do you want to experience the lifestyle in Whistler, BC- Canada’s premier ski resort town? Pan Pacific Whistler is looking for a full-time, year-round Maintenance Supervisor. We are looking for dynamic and physically fit individuals for this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent command of English
  • Previous experience in a Hotel Maintenance/Engineering department
  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience an asset
  • Familiar with Strata titled Hotels
  • Successful completion of Pool Operator 1 course
  • Good proficiency in computer programs including hotel reservation software and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to lead by example
  • Posses an ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels

Responsibilities
  • Ensure and practice high standards of safety to safeguard the wellbeing of our guest, associates, and the physical property.
  • Pool and Spa: Assist with regularly inspecting and maintaining Pool/Spa water chemistry adheres to BC Health Guidelines.
  • Help with troubleshoot and repair of complex building systems – HVAC, DDC, Pools etc.
  • Assist in keeping track of preventative maintenance (PM) report in organized manner.
  • Conduct regular parts inventory check and provide feedback. Assist in sourcing out parts
  • Assist with team supervision
  • Proficient in all common tasks in order to provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Assist in special projects execution, or other tasks as requested by the MS, MM or DoE.
  • Maintain highest standard of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards guests, clients and other associates
  • Contribute an energetic and positive attitude to the hotel atmosphere
  • Assist with new associate training and coaching
  • Perform daily routine and non-routine maintenance tasks and work orders
