Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of applications. This role is well-suited for someone starting their career in software testing with a strong willingness to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities Understand project requirements and create/execute test cases accordingly Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications Identify, log, and track bugs using defect management tools Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing Maintain test documentation and reports Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks with high quality Required Skills & Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in manual testing (or relevant internship/training) Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar Good analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases Basic understanding of web and mobile applications Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred / Nice to Have Knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools) Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies ISTQB certification (or pursuing) Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation Soft Skills Eagerness to learn and adapt Strong attention to detail Good communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
