Description

Seed Publishing & Events is seeking an organised, dynamic and creative Junior Marketing Executive to support the growth and visibility of its four brands: Scratch magazine, the Scratch Stars Awards, Nailympia Competitions and North America’s Star Nail Artist.
The company is the global authority on nails: recognising and rewarding professionals in the nail sector and providing resources and opportunities to elevate their careers.
Reporting to the Editorial & Partnerships Director, the Junior Marketing Executive will help plan, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement, brand awareness and event participation. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for beauty, events and media, who is bursting with ideas and seeking creative freedom within a job role.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative eye for design, with knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, InDesign or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and CRM.
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a will to learn and take initiative.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in campaign performance and metrics.
  • Passion for beauty or nails is an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in marketing, communications, media or related field.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and email marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of events marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, web, print and partnerships) across all four brands.
  • Support the development and scheduling of engaging social media content, ensuring tone and visuals are consistent with each brand’s identity.
  • Contribute to copywriting for newsletters, website updates, press releases and promotional material.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities within nail industry.
  • Monitor, report and analyse marketing activity, providing insight to improve future campaigns.
  • Conduct SEO analysis to optimise online visibility and reach.
  • Liaise with internal editorial, events and sales personnel to ensure alignment on brand messaging and deadlines.
  • Maintain marketing databases and update mailing lists to ensure effective campaign targeting.
