SaltX is on a mission to eliminate fossil fuels from industry. SaltX Technology is looking for a Junior Material Laboratory Analyst to join our Material Team in Stockholm. This is a hands-on laboratory role for someone early in their career who enjoys practical work, materials testing, and working closely with industrial processes. You will play an important role in supporting our lab operations and pilot-scale test campaigns as we develop and scale up innovative electrification technologies for the process industry. About the role As part of our Material Team, you will work closely with colleagues in R&D and Engineering. Your work will focus on practical laboratory activities and supporting ongoing test campaigns. Your responsibilities include: Running and monitoring laboratory experiments Sampling, preparation, and analysis of raw and processed materials Supporting pilot test campaigns in Vallentuna and Hofors Maintaining high standards for safety, documentation, and lab routines Supporting evaluation and interpretation of material test results Contributing to the daily operation and continuous improvement of the lab This role requires a strong on-site presence in our laboratory in Västertorp, Vallentuna and as well as occasional travel to our pilot facility in Hofors. Who you are We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career within industrial materials and process technology. You likely have: Education in materials engineering, process technology, chemical engineering, or similar — or equivalent hands-on industry experience Some experience from an industrial laboratory, pilot plant, or process industry Experience from industries such as cement, lime, steel, mining, or similar is highly meritorious A practical, structured, and proactive approach to work A positive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Fluency in English is required.
