Description

We're looking for a Junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join a global company in Lund. In this role, you will support both the R&D team in development projects and the Order & Issue Resolution team. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical design for development projects and customer orders. Work with simulation tasks. Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings in CREO, ensuring compliance with standards. Manage master data and maintain product structures in PDM systems (Windchill). Generate concepts for new designs, including feasibility analysis and design reviews. Update and maintain technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, sourcing) to resolve design-related issues. Requirements University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent. Proficiency in CREO CAD software and Windchill PDM. Required skills Mechanical Design CREO CAD Windchill PDM Technical Documentation Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and tolerance analysis. Familiarity with FMEA or other design risk assessment tools. Basic understanding of fluid dynamics and mechanical stress analysis. Skillful in AutoCAD Inventor is also a bonus. About You A quick learner who can adapt to new challenges and technologies. Comfortable making decisions even when information is incomplete. Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso. Start is the first of September, seven months limited contract to begin with, with the possibility of extension. This role is 100% onsite.
