Twentyfour Industries What we’re looking for We're looking for a mechanically minded, hands-on engineer to turn ideas into reality. In this role, you'll design, build, and refine mechanical systems, from drones to production-ready parts, blending solid engineering principles with practical problem-solving. This is a role for someone who's driven to make things work in the real world, not just on paper, and wants to grow into UAV hardware engineering from day one. The day-to-day Mechanical design: design mechanical components and systems for our UAV platforms using CAD Rapid prototyping: build and iterate on parts using 3D printing, from concept to bench-tested prototype Hands-on assembly: solder, assemble, and integrate mechanical and electronic components Testing and iteration: test designs on the bench, identify failure points, and refine accordingly Cross-disciplinary work: switch fluidly between design software and hands-on build work as the project demands You should apply if you Track record: you can show a project where you solved a real problem pragmatically, tell us what you built, why, and what you learned CAD skills: you're proficient in CAD design Hands-on experience: you have practical experience with 3D printing, soldering, and hands-on assembly Curiosity: you're curious, practical, and eager to build, test, and iterate Education: you hold a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 0-2 years of experience Eligibility: you're eligible to obtain a NATO security clearance Nice to haves Software depth: proficiency in SolidWorks Drone experience: UAV piloting skills or experience with PX4 or other drone control stacks Manufacturing knowledge: exposure to plastic injection molding and DFM/DFA principles What we offer Real impact & ownership: Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one.
