We are a full-service performance media buying agency that specialize in direct response solutions that help our clients reach Canadian and international consumers.

POSITION SUMMARY

In this entry level role, the Junior Media Research Analyst will manage various types of data from collection to analysis, deriving insights and reports from data points to drive day-to-day tactical execution of client media plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • College/University degree

Experience:

  • Basic knowledge in data manipulation and data processing
  • Able to extract valuable insights from data
  • Analytical thinker with knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, x/v lookups, arithmetic formula) and MS PowerPoint

Required:

  • Succinct written communication
  • The ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced/deadline-based work environment
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Rigorously detail oriented

Desired:

  • Love of data and analysis
  • Experience with Instar TV (Numeris) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the company dashboard and all information held within
  • Manage dashboard on clients behalf
  • Perform pre-reconciliation quality analysis on dashboard content
  • Create CSV files by client from dashboard to upload into software and manually manipulate data
  • Using Excel, leverage a variety of tools for advanced data mining capabilities
  • Ability to build reporting within PowerPoint
  • Manage data integrity and quality, consolidate raw data post logs from multiple sources, input into dashboard and ensure all information is accurate
  • Observe, analyze and provide a data-supported point of view to Media team, for client acquisition, renewal and scheduling decisions
  • Review previous booking week, work with Accounting on credits, communicate with stations to verify if previous week was executed as per contract expectations
  • Manage inbound Accounting requests
  • Communicating with networks to maintain positive external client relationships
  • Internally, provide support to Traffic and Media team
  • Understand and leverage different attribution models for web related data
  • Maintain accurate and timely audience trending reports
  • Report program schedules to Numeris and ensure accuracy
