An exciting role has become available for a Merchandise Planner to join the White Fox family at our stunning office in Rosebery.
Supporting the Planning Manager, you’ll use your merchandise planning fundamentals to help drive growth with a highly analytical and data-driven approach. We’re looking for someone positive, proactive, and eager to join our fantastic team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Merchandise Planning role
  • Experience in Ecommerce is essential
  • Experience with planning software is preferred
  • Experience within a fashion retailer is preferred
  • Tertiary qualification with an emphasis in Retail, Business, or Finance is an advantage
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork focus
  • Good organisational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines and self-manage
  • Initiative in identifying opportunities and engaging the team to execute on these
  • Aptitude for numbers and an outstanding attention to detail
  • Resourceful in finding solutions to problems and creating efficiency
  • Ability to understand and use systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Collaborate and build great relationship with team members
Responsibilities
  • Work with the merchandise planning team to deliver trading actions, aligning the overarching business financial plans
  • Forecast and maintain category WSSI’s to be signed off by the Planning Manager
  • Own product categories, form and deliver product strategies to drive business growth
  • Ensure optimal stock levels to minimise overstocking, balancing profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year
  • Ensure the correct balance of newness, repeat business, width, depth, pricing architecture, colour and category mix is planned
  • Build a balanced option plan to deliver the brand strategy taking into account the 3 key markets
  • Present weekly trade and monthly SWOT’s to key stakeholders
  • Perform ad hoc reporting as required by the business and across different business units
  • Develop short term and long term category strategies with the Buyer to maximise business trade
  • Maintain Clear As You Go Strategy to keep stock efficient
  • Be proactive in proposing ways of working improvements in a fast paced ever evolving environment
  • Help prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
