POSITION SUMMARY

C5T is seeking a Mission Assurance Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary action research team supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory and USTRANSCOM. The analyst will integrate mission assurance principles with ongoing research initiatives, providing operational insight and evidence-based recommendations.
Location: Scott Air Force Base, IL (USTRANSCOM HQ). Primarily in government workspaces, with some time in company offices and occasional telework.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or Associate’s with 5+ years experience).
  • Understanding of mission assurance concepts, risk management frameworks, and operational planning principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for a joint headquarters environment.
  • Strong critical and systems thinking skills.
  • Effective writing and briefing skills.
  • Ability to engage senior leaders in conceptual discussions of operational concepts or processes.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities in dynamic settings.
  • Familiarity with DoD writing styles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to appropriately protect sensitive information.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • S. citizenship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of current USTRANSCOM staff functions.
  • Familiarity with process analysis and organizational improvement.
  • Current DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar agile project management tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and conduct improvement efforts.
  • Maintain familiarity with DoD and USTRANSCOM mission assurance policies.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Document activities in accordance with program requirements
  • Contribute to after-action reviews and lessons learned.
  • Prepare concise, high-quality briefings and reports for senior leaders.
  • Ensure analyses comply with classification and security requirements.
