Team up to win. The project and the team We are a team of Software and Network Engineers working on automating firewall configuration migrations as part of Professional Services. Our Engineers support projects with their knowledge and hands-on experience with networks to deliver a working service from start to finish. Other things to know: Every team member gets onboarded via an online training course which includes a case study, live training sessions, lab and individual assignments We are working in a multi-vendor environment We collaborate closely with Professional Services engineers and architects on the customer side The client is based in the US We work on multiple interesting projects at a time, so we may invite you to an interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it. Your role As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for: Development and maintenance of firewall migration automation software Analysis and troubleshooting of issues coming from the software users. Active contribution to the AI-powered software development process Cooperation with the Delivery Team and the Customer on developing and improving automation tools. Do we have a match? As a Junior Network Automation Engineer you should ideally meet the following criteria: Proof of 2+ years of professional, hands-on operational experience in the field of networks or network security Good understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, network layers and commonly used protocols Good understanding of the principles and features of modern firewalls Hands-on experience with Git Practical experience building automation with Python Fluency in English (B2 level minimum) Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions and teamwork with senior peers Beyond the criteria above, we will highly appreciate: Knowledge of network security products from vendors like Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ZScaler, Juniper Experience with Claude Code Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) Knowledge of trends and practices in cybersecurity Experience working directly with external clients More reasons to join us Flexible working hours and approach to work: fully remotely, in the office or hybrid Professional growth supported by internal training sessions and a training budget Solid onboarding with a hands-on approach to give you an easy start A great atmosphere among professionals who are passionate about their work The ability to change the project you work on
