Assist in the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of company network infrastructure. This includes configuring and testing network devices, monitoring performance, and providing technical support to users, documenting network configurations, changes, and incidents.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an information technology/security related field (Required)
• CCNA or PCNSA or a similar certification, required within 6-12 of hire date.
• Security + or Cisco CyberOps or a similar certification, required within 6-12 of hire date.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred)
• Working experience with troubleshooting tools like command line (DNS/Ping), ARP, Traceroute, and Ping
• Ability to remain current with technologies that are used by Bank through provided training/certifications
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and AAA servers
• Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues using tools like SNMP, Wireshark, and Network Performance Monitoring Software
• Troubleshooting network problems and escalating complex issues to senior engineers
• Performing routine network maintenance checks and updates
• Documenting network configurations, changes, troubleshooting steps, and topologies
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining network security measures
• Monitoring network security threats and responding to security incidents
• Assisting senior engineers in network design, implementation, and upgrade projects
• Working with cross-functional teams to understand network requirements and provide support
• Communicating effectively with team members, users, and other departments
• Collaborating with senior engineers on complex issues and projects
• Other duties as directed

SECONDARY DUTIES

• Staying up to date with the latest networking technologies and security threats
• On-call responsibilities to assist the team in after-hours activities
• Assist in the development of network automation tools like Python/Ansible
