Description
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor, Operate & maintenance of chilling & brine plant. Monitor controls air compressors, reactors, and related chemical process equipment. Performing shift duties as directed by Utility Shift In-charge. Monitor Air Blower/Compressor/Oil Pumps, DCS Operations & control and handling the equipment such as elevators, bag filters, mixer, conveying system, Dryers etc. Monitor the activities carried by subordinates like equipment operators, and monitor the activities of trainees like turning valves to control flow of materials, setting equipment controls at specified readings, gauging tank levels and recharging equipment with fresh catalytic agents. Responsible for smooth operation of utility systems and ensure production as per norms. Performs routine tasks relative to equipment operations as directed. Supervise and support Operators, Trainees in operations of plant controls as instructed. Performs major preventative maintenance of systems as designated. Assists in maintaining records of equipment operations. Knows and abides by all safety rules and regulations. Keep work area clean & neat and supervise housekeeping activities of your work-area. Supervise and act as mentor for Workers, Trainees, helpers and apprentice in your department. Documentation such as filling in of preventive maintenance program checklist, equipment history card.
Responsibilities
The Junior Officer - Utility is responsible for monitoring and operating utility systems, ensuring smooth operations, and performing routine tasks as directed. They supervise operators and trainees, maintain equipment records, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
