REQUIRED SKILLS
- Be currently enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree in business, tehnical writing or related studies
- Have an understanding of processes/procedures within FirstOntario Credit Union would be considered an asset
- Demonstrate your knowledge of project management and scheduling skills that support the achievement project deliverables and deadlines
- Experience collecting feedback from shareholders/ end users when implementing revised and unique programs, policies and procedures
- Showcase your technical writing skills when preparing materials for the interpretation, analysis, and assessment of policies and procedures that are informative yet user friendly
- Be overly familiar with particularly MS Office suite; knowledge of our banking system is considered an asset
- Enjoy a challenge when it comes to complex issues/analysis and be resourceful in the way you find a solution
- Show off your strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while keeping your eye on the prize
- Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and be trustworthy
- Innately demonstrate superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Be aware of and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legislation and FirstOntario policies and procedures

Responsibilities:
- Support in the design new or redesign of existing processes, document existing business processes, policies and procedures
- Have a critical eye for identifying organizational systemic risks and opportunities of processes and procedures while providing appropriate recommendations
- Methodically gather, analyze and validate system data while having an integral part in all areas of process design to implementation and communication, all while aligning the policies and procedures to the FirstOntario strategy
- Meticulously document and work through issues encountered during process improvement
- On an ongoing basis provide researched input to system test plans, ensuring they meet business requirements, functionality, performance and operational efficiency
- Enjoy working with tight deadlines and providing valuable input on projects to enhance and customize products and processes to exceed operational needs
- Help team members manage project work packages and provide regular detailed status reports to your team while providing recommendations on corrective action if deliverables are in jeopardy
- Enjoy staying ahead of the curve when it comes to Financial Service Industry operations trends and best practices
- Communicate in a fashion that is respectful and well understood
- Consider health & safety as a primary concern to ensure the overall well being of self and others
- Perform other duties as required
