The Junior Operations Manager plays a key leadership role during the second shift, assisting operations leadership with the day-to-day management of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) team. This role ensures that clients receive consistent, high-quality support throughout their treatment journey in a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment.
This position is ideal for an emerging leader who is eager to grow their management experience while being hands-on with staff development, training, crisis intervention, and operational oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, support, and schedule BHTs, with a focus on second shift operations
  • Train new staff on facility protocols, de-escalation techniques, documentation standards, and engagement practices
  • Ensure BHT compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF)
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and safety checks to ensure the well-being of clients and staff
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and performance feedback; address staff-related conflicts and concerns
  • Support crisis intervention, behavioral redirection, and conflict resolution as needed
  • Maintain accurate shift documentation and ensure BHTs complete necessary logs and reports
  • Coordinate with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams to promote seamless client care and resolve any operational issues
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
  • Serve as a role model, upholding ethical standards and professionalism at all times
